Sapphire crystal is the third hardest transparent material in the world. With a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale (1 to 10), the synthetic glass is almost resistant to scratches and wear. For a clear view of the metal dial, we use double-domed sapphire crystal. The double curvature of the glass reduces distortion, makes it more resistant to pressure and ensures better readability from different angles. In addition, the glass is anti-reflective on the inside to minimize light reflections and improve readability in direct sunlight.

Miyota movements stand for Japanese precision and enjoy an excellent international reputation. For our VIIS automatic watches, we exclusively use movements from Miyota’s premium Caliber 9 series. The Japanese company manufactures nearly all components with micro-precision in-house, enabling both high accuracy and a slim construction. With 28.800 vibrations per hour, the Caliber 9 series offers a smooth seconds hand movement and excellent timekeeping accuracy. The Parashock shock protection guards against impacts, while a 42-hour power reserve, along with features such as a date display or GMT function, ensure reliability and versatility.

Super-LumiNova® is an innovative luminous material that ensures excellent readability in the dark. We rely on the Swiss original and use exclusively Super-LumiNova® BGW9. The ceramic phosphorescent pigments store light energy and release it gradually as visible light. This way, Super-LumiNova® delivers long-lasting luminosity even in complete darkness.

Italian calf leather impresses with its soft texture, durability and elegant appearance. For our watch straps, we use exclusively vegetable-tanned calf leather from Italy. The material is characterized by a fine grain and remains particularly supple thanks to the vegetable tanning process. Over time, it develops a noble patina that enhances the character of the strap. The solid pin buckle and quick-release system make it easy to change the strap within seconds and adapt it to your personal style.

Stainless steel is a high-quality material that is often used in watchmaking for external components. For our watches, we specifically use 316L stainless steel. This material combines robustness, elegance, and durability. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance even under demanding conditions and is especially resistant to scratches. Thanks to its hypoallergenic properties, it is also suitable for sensitive skin.

With every watch we bring a piece of craftsmanship and design to your wrist.

  • Traveller-GMT

Our mechanical VIIS watches use Miyota movements with a GMT mechanism. As a high-quality flagship movement, the 9075 caliber has a 'True GMT' or 'Traveller GMT' mechanism. The hour hand can be adjusted independently of the GMT hand. This means that when the local time is adjusted, the second, minute and GMT hands, which show the home or reference time, continue to run unchanged. This makes it particularly useful for you as a traveler in different time zones.

  • 10 ATM water resistance

The water resistance of a watch is defined by its pressure resistance. VIIS watches are equipped with a water resistance of at least 10 ATM. This means that the watch can withstand a pressure of up to 10 bar, which corresponds to a water depth of around 100 meters. Thanks to this water resistance, the watch is more resilient and you can swim, snorkel or shower with your watch without it being damaged.

  • screw-down crown

A screw-down crown is screwed into the case of a watch to provide additional protection against water or dust. In our VIIS watches, the easy-grip crown ensures that operating errors caused by accidental removal are avoided. When the crown is screwed in, a sealing ring on the inside of the crown presses against the threaded case and seals it. The crown can be loosened by unscrewing it to set the time or wind the watch if necessary.

  • screwed case back

The case back is firmly and tightly screwed to the watch case to prevent the ingress of water and dust. This increases the robustness and longevity of your VIIS watch. Our watches are equipped with a transparent caseback so that you can admire the detailed movement and precise mechanics of your watch. This feature is a tribute to the traditional craftsmanship of watchmaking and emphasizes the quality standards of our timepieces.
