Every VIIS watch is designed, manufactured and inspected with great care and passion in the Golden City of Pforzheim. That is why our watches bear the label 'Made in Germany' on the dial - we are proud of that.
From the design idea to your wrist
The vision takes shape
The ideas for our timepieces are born in Graz – a UNESCO City of Design – where our founders, Leonie and Josip, develop each model with passion and courage. In creative sessions, various concepts are sketched, colors combined, and components tested. The detailed refinement and technical conception are carried out in collaboration with our specialized partner design studio in Germany.
True to the motto, “Good things take time,” the journey to a new timepiece can take months, sometimes even years. It requires genuine engineering skill, multiple prototypes, and a healthy dose of patience before we meet our own high standards for quality and design.
Tiny components come together to form a perfect whole
Once the model has been fully developed, the production of each watch begins by hand in Germany. Experienced watchmakers assemble every timepiece with meticulous craftsmanship and subject it to thorough testing. This ensures that each watch meets our high standards of quality and that only a first-class example makes its way to you.
Produced in Germany
Our watches are developed, manufactured, and tested in Germany, ensuring that the majority of the value creation takes place locally. At the same time, we collaborate with carefully selected international partners when they provide specialized expertise or high-quality components – for example, premium movements from Miyota in Japan.
All components are then assembled into a VIIS watch in Germany using traditional craftsmanship. When selecting our partners, we place great importance on quality, reliability, and a shared commitment to high standards.
