Every VIIS watch is designed, manufactured and inspected with great care and passion in the Golden City of Pforzheim. That is why our watches bear the label 'Made in Germany' on the dial - we are proud of that.
From the design idea to your wrist
The vision takes shape
The vision for our timepieces is brought to life by our founders, Leonie & Josip, in Graz - the UNESCO City of Design. With passion and bold creativity, we explore ideas, experiment with different components and colours, and sketch each watch by hand. Only then does the actual design process begin, with technical development carried out by our partner design office in Germany.
True to the motto, “Good things take time”, the journey to a new timepiece can take months, sometimes even years. It requires exceptional engineering, multiple prototypes, and unwavering patience to meet our high standards of quality and design.
Tiny components come together to form a perfect whole
Once all drawings are finalized and samples approved, each watch is assembled by hand in Germany. In the hands of experienced watchmakers, every timepiece is crafted with great precision before undergoing extensive testing. Our strict quality controls ensure that only watches meeting our high standards make their way to you.

Do 'Made in Germany' watches and international components sound like a contradiction? They are not. We believe in transparency and want to show you exactly what 'Made in Germany' truly means.
Design, technical conception, assembly, testing and quality control: the majority of our value chain takes place in Germany. However, this doesn’t mean that all components must come exclusively from Germany. For example, our watches are equipped with premium movements from Miyota — an innovative manufacturer from Japan. These high-quality international components are then assembled in Germany using traditional craftsmanship to create a seamless whole - your VIIS watch.
The components of our timepieces are carefully selected, no matter their country of origin. When choosing our partners, we place great emphasis on technical expertise, shared values, and reliable collaboration.
